Student Ministry Outing

Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 6:15 - 10:00 PM

Students in 7th - 12th grade are invited to join us for an evening of fellowship, bowling and Canes Kickin' Chicken.  Please bring $20 for bowling and meal.  Bring a friend.

Youth Fundraiser Garage Sale

March 3rd and 4th

The youth are sponsoring a garage sale to raise money for camp.

Drop off Donated Items:  Wednesday, March 1 from 7:50pm - 8:30pm.

& Thursday, March 2 from 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Garage Sale: Friday, March 3 from 8:00am - 6:00pm

Saturday, March 4 from 8:00am - noon.

Volunteers are needed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Sign-up in the foyer if you can help.  For more information, contact Amy McIlwain.

Taking Control of Diabetes

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office, Orange & Newton County, will be offering a free diabetes class here at FBC Mauriceville.  March 9, 16, 23, 30 & April 6 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.  To register, contact the TX A&M AgriLife Ext. Office, Orange County (409)882-7010 or Newton County (409)379-4831.

3rd Annual Health Fair

Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Priscilla Shirer Simulcast

Saturday, April 8 from 9:00am - 4:35pm

FBC Mauriceville will host the Priscilla Shirer Simulcast in our Sancturary.  Anthony Evans will lead worship.  If you would like to attend, sign up in the foyer.  Cost:  $20 includes lunch.  Payment is due in advance.  After signing up, pay at the church office or designate an envelope "Simulcast" and drop in the offering plate.  Checks payable to FBC.

ALPHA Preteen Camp, ETBE

For Students who have completed 3rd - 6th grade.

June 19-22, 2017  Cost:  $155

GTBN Youth Camp, ETBE

For Students who have completed 7th - 12th grade.

June 26 - 30, 2017     Cost:  $215.

Registration deadline:  April 30.  Registration packets in the foyer.

Opportunities for Service

Operation Christmas Child

Each month we will collect specific items for the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.  Please bring the requested items for the month of February:

  • Stuffed Animals and Dolls (No longer than fingertip to wrist)

  • Small Drink Cups

  • Chapstick

Please bring your donated items and drop them in the provided box in the foyer.

Food Pantry Needs

Our food pantry is very low!  We need the following items:  Canned ham, spam, chicken, tuna, chili & hearty soups.  Complete boxed meals, tuna helper, spaghetti sauce & noodles, dried beans & rice, oatmeal, complete pancake mix & syrup.  Canned vegetables are not needed at this time.  Please do not bring expired food or items not on the list.  You can drop off your items in the foyer or church office.

Homebound Ministry

The Homebound Ministry visits the homebound on the second Sunday of each month and brings them a goody bag.  If you would like to help by baking cookies or cupcakes, contact Annette McWhirter by the first Sunday of the month.

Join The Music Ministry

Praise Choir Practice:  Every Sunday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

Handbell Choir:  After Morning Worship.

Sr. Adult Choir Practice:  Every other Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
